Hooded Suede Black Thobe, front view showing the zip neckline.

Layering a thobe for cooler Ramadan nights

For a cooler Ramadan evening, plan for both the journey and the time indoors. A comfortable outfit for a walk to the mosque may feel different once you are inside. Layers that are easy to remove give you more flexibility than choosing a garment by its colour or style name alone.

Try the layers together

Put on your intended base layer, thobe and coat before the evening. Raise your arms, sit down and check that the shoulders do not pull. Make sure sleeves can be adjusted comfortably and that the hem does not catch under your shoes.

A coat should fasten over the thobe without compressing its sleeves. If you prefer a hooded thobe, check how its hood sits beneath your outerwear rather than adding two bulky hoods without trying them together.

Choose from the garment details

Our hooded suede thobes have a hood and zip neckline. Everyday Omani thobes provide a simpler neckline for layering. These are design differences; neither a photograph nor the word “winter” establishes a garment’s insulation or fibre composition.

Before you order

Check the product’s size options and thobe size guide. Ask us about any missing fabric or fit information. Allow time to try the complete outfit, and check current delivery options for your address instead of assuming a seasonal arrival guarantee.

For cleaning after repeated wear, follow the garment’s own care label. A routine that suits one thobe may not suit another finish or embroidered detail.
