Garment measurements are more useful than assigning yourself a body-type label. Start with a thobe that already fits comfortably, then compare the same measurements on the style you want to buy. Height alone does not describe shoulder width, chest room or your preferred fit.
Check four areas
- Shoulders: check where the seam sits and whether reaching forward feels restricted.
- Chest: compare like-for-like measurements and allow room for your intended underlayer.
- Sleeves: check the cuffs with your arms relaxed and while reaching.
- Length: try the garment with your intended footwear and check that the hem stays clear when walking.
Understand the chart
Our thobe size guide reproduces the published adult thobe measurements. Ask how a value was measured if a label is unclear; a flat garment width is not the same measurement as a body circumference. Do not assume a lettered Moroccan size corresponds to a numbered Omani size.
Use model information carefully
A model’s height and worn size provide a reference for that photograph. They cannot account for all differences in build or fit preference. Compare the actual product details, and contact our team if you need a missing measurement.
Browse men’s thobes once you have narrowed down the neckline, sleeves and silhouette you prefer.
