How to assess thobe details before buying

“Luxury” is a broad marketing word. To decide whether a thobe is right for you, look for specific information you can check: clear photographs, garment measurements, finish details and care instructions.

Inspect the visible finish

Zoom in on the neckline, cuffs and front opening. Compare the placement of embroidery and how the garment sits at the shoulders. View the back and sides as well as the main photograph. A close-up is useful evidence of appearance, but cannot prove fibre composition or how a garment was manufactured.

Ask for the missing facts

If a fabric percentage, lining detail, pocket design or measurement matters to you, ask about the exact product. Do not treat words such as premium, handcrafted or breathable as a substitute for a specification. Care requirements are also part of the purchase: check the label before assuming the garment suits your routine.

Compare within your preferred style

Our Royal Omani thobes provide visible contrast embroidery, while Everyday Omani thobes use more understated stitching. Neither amount of decoration alone establishes which garment will fit you better.

Use the thobe size guide and current delivery and returns information. Choose the combination of detail, fit and practical use that suits you, and contact our team before ordering if an important specification is not listed.
